MERCEDES-BENZ 230 230 CE 230 CE 1981

We are delighted to offer this wonderful 1981 Mercedes 230CE in White over Beige interior. Only 138k miles and 5 owners in its 40 year life with a fully documented service history, this Mercedes looks absolutely fantastic - the bodywork is in excellent condition overall (previous owner told us that the car was painted 4 years ago) with only a few blemishes to the paint work. There are some small areas of bubbling to the bodywork, mainly along the bottom of the passenger side door and the NSR bumper corner - there are photos included of these areas. Considering the age of the car the interior is also in great shape - there is some lacquer peel on some of the wooded dash and ther drivers seat is showing some signs of wear, otherwise its very tidy. The engine and gearbox are in excellent shape and it starts with the first turn of the key and changes gears through the 4 speed auto very smoothly. The car drives really well and will keep up with modern traffic with ease. It has 16" Rial multi spoke Alloys which have just had the dishes diamond cut and the centres painted in light grey - they are as new. All 4 tyres are Continental and all have loads of tread left. Sadly the sunroof won't open (which we haven't fully investigated) and the front seats are locked in the upright position. All the chrome brightwork looks superb - this car is a real headturner.
